Vasame Pizza: Authentic Neapolitan Flavors in the Heart of Sorrento

The marinara pizza was so tasty, crispy and yet soft and fluffy too. It was very good. We also tried a spaccanapoli for the first time - again tasted great with smoky cheese and delightful crispy outer although dread to think of the calories! Whilst the food was great the service was less so. I don't think they had their full complement of staff on - although maybe that is being kind. The ones that were on didn't seem to care - after sitting waiting to order and being walked past and ignored, we ended up having to go and ask someone to take our order. We weren't the only ones either another guest had to do the same. We noted there was a 12% cover charge on the bill and so the waiters are guaranteed a tip and so clearly don't have to work to get it. Toilets were not great either no one was keeping an eye on them and they needed some attention. Chefs clearly doing an excellent job, with the front of house letting the place down.

We had amazing pizzas at this beautiful pizzeria. Try Vesuvio and Bufala Smarrita, both are special and delicious. Their ragù napoletana and torta caprese were great too. Service was nice, and you can watch your pizza being made by the very friendly pizzaiolo.

Authentic italian pizza. Very good food. Good value for money. Parmigiana di melanzzane and different types of pizza were very good.

Great service and delicious pizza! The pistachio mortadella pizza is amazing. The staff was warm and inviting we ended up stopping here for pizza and gin tonics most night on our way back to the hotel. Good prices!

This one, was a recommendation from locals and it was great! We order the Bufala SMARRTA lovely. For 2 was more than enough, if you were eating the whole day enjoy Sorrento!

We sat outside with our table of three because almost every other dinner spot in our area was booked to the gills due to the cruise ships. This place serves pizza, full stop. They have other things on their menu but pizza is their bread and butter. They do serve buttered and cheese pizza crust as “bread” on their table. We started with a caprese salad which is a whole two balls of mozzarella and was entirely unneeded due to the size of our pizzas! My dining companions got the margaritas doc/dog which was very tasty as it was used with premium ingredients. I took a pizza from their special menu and had it with ricotta whips and squash flowers. It was unique and tasty and I definitely recommend it. There was only one waiter for the whole restaurant that we could see but he killed it. He even gave me a rose at the end as they had bought a bouquet from a street vendor and handed them out to patrons at the end of the night. This place is good for dinner without a reservation, for large groups, and for sitting outside!
